Education

An ideal classroom process is one in which children are active participants in observing, exploring, listening, reasoning, questioning and ‘coming to know’.

Objective

The child as a learner is central to the process of teaching and learning. An ideal classroom process is one in which children are active participants in observing, exploring, listening, reasoning, questioning and ‘coming to know’. Based on this belief the School Environment program is an initiative of Sampark Foundation to create a conducive and joyful learning environment in schools.
Strategy:
In an effort to provide quality school environment, this program ensures:

  • School toilets with water facilities – for boys and girls to learn and inculcate safe water and sanitation hygiene

  • Cycles for girls to safely access and attend school regularly

  • Classroom furniture for providing a conducive learning environment in the school

  • Library books for developing the reading capacities of children and providing them content and materials for enhanced learning

  • Multipurpose spaces for co-curricular and indoor activities for children

  • Playgrounds, coaching and sports equipment to participate in sports and games.
